One number turns paying rent by transfer from the default into something you failed to claim.

[Creative] Zipup: The Rent Ad That Makes Not Doing It Feel Like Losing

What happened

  • A single 500-won coin on a blue field, with 86% set over it at a third of the screen
  • The copy reads "2030s are already paying rent by card with Zipup Pay." Not you can — they are, right now
  • That one number turns everyone not doing it into the minority
  • A small speech bubble on the right adds "Hit your card spending target with rent!"
  • No fees, no sign-up steps. That's where the creative stops

Why it works

  • Point 1. Social proof does the persuading. Instead of explaining the benefit, it just shows you what everyone else does — so there's nothing to argue with, only yourself to reconsider
  • Point 2. Nowhere does it say where 86% comes from. Almost certainly Zipup Pay users. But that number doesn't hold across all Koreans in their 20s and 30s, so finding a population where it does is the smart part
  • Point 3. This is a creative built on an information gap. It creates the feeling that only people in the know were getting this, and the landing page catches that feeling. The 1.8% fee, tax deductions, interest-free installments, and choose-your-own payment date are all laid out clearly, so "was I the only one losing out" turns into "this is how much I gain"
  • Point 4. Keeping "no landlord consent needed" out of the ad and folding it into the landing page was smart. Said outright in an ad it would read as controversial, but placed next to the licensed PG structure it becomes reassurance. That's the kind of bold, cheeky marketing only a startup can try
  • In one line: the creative builds the feeling of missing out, the landing page closes it with the numbers
